1. We don't want your data.
The document tools process file content locally in your browser. You do not need an account to use the available tools.
2. Your files stay on your device.
We process your PDFs directly in your browser using IndexedDB and WebAssembly. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. In fact, we don't even have a database for your files. Files remain in local browser storage so you can download recent results. You can delete all local files from Recent files. On your next visit after an hour of inactivity, the app clears its stored files.
3. Browser storage
The app uses IndexedDB for files and localStorage for activity information. Closing the tab does not delete local files. Clear Recent files when using a shared device. Downloads saved outside the browser remain until you delete them.
4. Third Parties
The website, processing libraries and OCR recognition models need network requests. Hosting and asset providers receive ordinary request information, such as your IP address. Document content is processed on your device; local processing does not mean the website makes no network requests.
5. Changes to this policy
This page should be updated when file handling, local retention or external services change. Review it alongside the security information before processing sensitive documents.
